Role Summary:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Product Management is responsible for leading Wolfe’s product, strategy, and execution across its portfolio of gift card and digital gifting products, including Gift Card Granny, GiftYa, and PerfectGift. This role oversees product strategy, design, analytics, and execution functions, ensuring alignment with Wolfe’s mission, operational goals, and market opportunities.
The SVP primarily leads customer-facing product experiences but may also be responsible for backend integrations with banks, processors, and foundational infrastructure. Additionally, the SVP will drive merchant solutions and expand Wolfe’s white-label product offerings, enabling businesses to brand Wolfe’s technology as their own and offer customized gifting solutions to their customers.
Wolfe powers gift card programs for top merchants, including KFC, Kendra Scott, Pandora, and others. You will have responsibility of roughly 40 employees and 5 direct reports.
The SVP must have experience at a company scaling up from roughly 100 to 500+ employees, demonstrating a track record of founder/owner leadership, hands-on execution, fast-paced decision-making, and operational excellence.
This is a five-day onsite role in Pittsburgh, requiring a leader who embraces challenges, executes with discipline, and fosters a culture of ownership, collaboration, and high performance.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Wolfe's product strategy by leading end-to-end delivery across the product lifecycle -- from ideation and development to launch, iteration, and continuous improvement -- ensuring alignment with business priorities and market needs.
- Manage and mentor Product Managers, Designers, Data Analysts, and Project Managers, fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Security to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions.
- Utilize data, customer insights, and market trends to inform product decisions and drive innovation.
- Define and track success metrics for product initiatives to ensure measurable business impact.
- Contribute to operational excellence by continuously refining product processes and supporting agility in a high-growth environment.
- Lead the development of Wolfe's Annual Operating Plan (AOP), aligning product roadmaps with business goals.
- Identify and capitalize on industry trends to position Wolfe as a leader in digital gifting.

Qualifications:
- Late Stage Startup (or mid-stage scaling) experience is required: Must have been involved in scaling a company from roughly 100 to 500+ plus employees.
- Familiarity with AI and innovation trends, with hands-on experience applying Gen AI or other technologies to enhance product development and operational efficiencies.
- 7+ years of product leadership experience, including Product Management, Product Design, Data Analytics, and Project Management.
- Background in fintech, digital commerce, or payments, with experience in gift and reward card industries preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to and lead the execution of product strategies that create meaningful business and user impact.
- Highly analytical, with a strong ability to interpret data, define KPIs, and measure business impact-balancing customer insights, market trends, and business objectives with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience leading Agile product development methodologies and driving execution through structured project management.
- Proven leadership skills, with a track record of building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills across multiple business functions.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive alignment, and support innovation through structured thinking and strong judgment.
- Experience building and scaling products, teams, and processes in high-growth settings is strongly valued.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual base salary will be 210,000 – 250,000 USD depending on the candidate's experience and expertise. Plus Bonus Incentive plan of up to 30% of salary (target 20%), and a Restricted Stock Unit plan with units vesting yearly for 4 years.
